We are seeking a skilled and motivated Biostatistician to join our fast-paced, collaborative environment who is eager to expand their expertise in data analysis and contribute to meaningful advancements in clinical science! The ideal candidate for our Biostatistician I will play a key role in supporting clinical research through tailored statistical approaches. The right candidate is a proactive individual with excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for applying statistical methods in clinical research. They will possess strong written and verbal communication skills to explain complex findings to non-technical audiences as well as the ability to work collaboratively or independently as needed.

Job Description

  • Support data cleaning, transformation, and preparation for analysis
  • Develop and validate statistical code to support the analysis of clinical study data
  • Conduct statistical analyses using appropriate techniques
  • Assist with developing and executing statistical analysis plans, study protocols, and comprehensive reports
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data analyses by adhering to best practices and quality control standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and provide analytical support
  • Interpret and summarize results clearly for internal and external clients
  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory standards in the preparation of documentation
  • Stay current on statistical techniques, tools, and industry trends

Core Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in statistics, mathematics, or data science
  • Proficient in statistical programming languages such as SAS and R, with the capability and willingness to learn new tools as required
  • Experience in data manipulation, linking, and analysis
  • Demonstrated ability utilizing Microsoft office suite
  • Broad understanding of statistical concepts and methodologies relevant to clinical research
  • Ability to think critically, solve problems effectively, and maintain attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills with the flexibility to prioritize, multi-task, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment

Desired

  • Master’s degree preferred
  • Medical imaging or dermatology knowledge/background
  • Familiarity with mixed models and test-retest reliability methodology and with the regulatory processes is advantageous
