About the Position
Under the direction of the Director Corporate & Foundation Relations, this role is the primary liaison between internal departments and external corporate and foundation partners to advance the mission. Manages execution of contract deliverables to maximize existing relationships between Canine Companions and our corporate and foundation partners. Responsible for managing the business activities of the corporate relations team. These activities include but are not limited to researching corporate prospects and donors, developing briefing materials and meeting presentations, establishing, and maintaining departmental shared drive and databases, facilitating proposal and grant award tracking, processing grant awards, and other priority operations of the corporate relations team.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES:
- Reporting directly to the Director Corporate & Foundation Relations, work closely with the Partnership Marketing Manager and all regions on activation of corporate partnerships to achieve mutual return on investment
- Manage project plans for partnerships to ensure all internal departments (marketing, programs, regions, volunteer services, etc.) are clear on deliverables as well as compliance with Canine Companions guidelines and manage timelines and tracking for execution of benefits
- Is primary liaison between regions and the Corporate Partnerships team on all third-party partnership inquiries and to ensure compliance with sponsorship and gift acceptance policies
- Work across all regions and departments to generate inspirational content and stories that reflect the impact of the mission and deliver to partners in a format that meets their needs
- Manage Salesforce records and other tracking documents of partner accounts to ensure they are kept current
- Manage all regional cause marketing campaigns in collaboration with regional staff, which includes resource allocation, implementation and tracking
- Monitor activity in the regions with respect to regional and corporate activations to ensure compliance with Canine Companions’ IP and logo usage
- Serve as a contact for any account issues not related to finances and be accountable for resolution
- Schedule and participate in program related meetings (e.g., team meetings, donor check-ins, donor monthly/quarterly calls)
- Act as primary point of contact for all sponsor activities and, in collaboration with Partnership Marketing Manager, volunteer puppy raiser and staff participation for trade shows and conferences
- Manage Fetch website with current policies, pipelines, tools and resources as it relates to corporate partnerships and foundations.
- Develop corporate partner survey to obtain feedback for continuous improvement of partnership programs
- Accountable for direct responsibilities outlined in this job description and to serve fellow staff and other constituents with whom position interacts. Ensure actions and communications follow core values.
- Partnership Marketing Manager to collaborate with this role on collection of data to create impact reports and other external facing reports as requested
EXPECTATIONS: To be successful in this position - Must haves:
EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of three to five years’ experience in corporate partnerships/sponsorship execution and activation.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products is required.
- Prior experience with CRM database necessary, Salesforce preferred.
CHARACTERISTICS & SKILLS:
- Strong organizational, communication and project management skills are a must.
- Previous administrative or office experience required with experience in corporate sponsorship, marketing, communications or fundraising preferred.
- Accurate, detail-oriented, able to problem solve/analyze, and maintain a high level of confidentiality.
- Excellent oral, verbal and written communication skills required, including public contact.
- Able to travel to all partner conferences, events and other activities as part of the corporate partnership

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- WORKING CONDITIONS: While performing the duties of this job the employee will work indoors and outdoors performing event management and administrative duties.
- This position will attend partner events and conferences. Some weekend work is required; some travel required.
SCHEDULE: Full-time.
RATE OF PAY:
- Santa Rosa, CA/Oceanside, CA: $67,000 - $72,000 per year
- Orlando, FL/Medford, NY/New Albany, OH/Irving, TX: $62,000 - $67,000 per year

The base salary range below represents the low and high of the range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of total compensation package for employees.
