Job Summary:
We are seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Budtender to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the face of our dispensary, providing exceptional customer service and expert guidance on cannabis products. You will help our customers make informed decisions, ensuring a positive experience while adhering to state and local regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service:
- Greet customers warmly and create a welcoming atmosphere.
- Assess customer needs and provide personalized product recommendations.
- Educate customers on various cannabis strains, products, and consumption methods.
- Product Knowledge & Sales:
- Maintain a deep understanding of our product offerings, including edibles, concentrates, flower, topicals, and accessories.
- Stay updated on industry trends and new product releases.
- Assist in achieving daily and monthly sales targets through knowledgeable upselling and cross-selling.
- Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure all interactions and transactions comply with state and local cannabis regulations.
- Verify customer age and required documentation for purchases.
- Keep accurate records of sales and inventory as required.
- Operational Duties:
- Manage point-of-sale systems and handle cash or electronic transactions accurately.
- Assist in receiving, stocking, and merchandising products on the sales floor.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with management and other team members to ensure a smooth, efficient operation.
- Provide feedback on customer trends and product preferences to help drive business decisions.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in retail, customer service, or the cannabis industry is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills and a passion for educating customers about cannabis products.
- Strong attention to detail, especially regarding compliance and record-keeping.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
