Job Summary:
As a Budtender at Canna Bar, you will be the friendly and knowledgeable face of our dispensary. You will guide customers through our product offerings, ensuring they receive personalized recommendations based on their needs. You must maintain compliance with state regulations while delivering outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, assess their needs, and offer expert advice on strains, products, and consumption methods.
- Product Knowledge: Stay updated on various cannabis products, including flower, edibles, concentrates, and topicals; understand effects, dosages, and benefits.
- Sales & Transactions: Process transactions accurately using our POS system, handle cash responsibly, and maintain accurate sales records.
- Compliance & Safety: Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations; verify customer IDs to ensure legal age requirements; maintain strict confidentiality.
- Display & Merchandising: Keep product displays attractive, organized, and fully stocked; assist in setting up promotions and in-store events.
- Education & Support: Educate customers on safe consumption practices, answer queries about product origins, and share usage tips.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with management and fellow team members to achieve sales targets and improve store operations.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in retail or customer service preferred.
- Passion for the cannabis industry and a willingness to stay informed about new products and trends.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Must be 21 years old with valid ID; a clean background in compliance with state regulations.
- Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems is a plus.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.50 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 15 per week
