Job Summary
We are a small business looking for reliable workers who enjoy staying busy in the work place. Looking for someone who is comfortable working alone in the drive through but can also work with others. Must be someone who can multitask and work in a fast paced environment. As a member of the team you do everything from taking orders, using a deli slicing, to making the subs and shakes as well as closing and opening duties depending on the shift. We are owner operated so we value an employee with strong work ethic, shows up to shifts and puts pride in making food and providing great customer service
LOCATION
We have two locations, one located off Marvin rd (drive through) and one dine-in restaurant located off Yelm hwy in Lacey. Ideally someone interested in working at both locations.
PAY:
Pay will start at 16.50/HR plus TIPS during the training period.. if you continue with us after training we will increase pay to $17/HR. Current employees make around $21/HR including tips during the slow season and can make upwards of $29/ HR. We put value in employees who are looking for long term employment and plan on staying with us for longer than 6 months. Opportunities to grow in pay within the company based on performance.
Qualifications:
-Open availability is a plus
-Must be able to work weekends and closing shifts till 8:30pm
-Must be comfortable working alone
-Must be quick thinking and able to multitask
Responsibilies:
- Prepare sandwiches according to customer preferences and memorize recipes of both subs and shakes
- Ensure food safety standards are met during all stages of food preparation
- Operate and maintain kitchen equipment such as slicer, toaster, and prep tables
- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area/kitchen
- Use POS systems to take and process orders
- Provide friendly and efficient service to customers while promoting sales
Experience
- Prior experience in a culinary role is preferred
- Knowledge of basic math for measuring ingredients accurately
- Food card certification
- Experience working in a café setting is a plus
- Proficiency in time management to handle multiple tasks efficiently
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 35 per week
