Position Details: Part Time / Full Time
(Schedule flexibility after completion of 30-day probation period)
Starting pay: $16 per hour
Pay frequency: Bi-weekly

Requirements
- High School Diploma / GED
- Of the age 21 and older
- OLCC (Oregon Liquor & Cannabis Commission) A valid and active Marijuana Workers Permit
Side note: The application to obtain an OLCC permit might take longer than expected. It is best to obtain the physical permit for better chances of immediate application acceptance. The permit is necessary for the job and needed before you start your work here at Canna Leaf.

Duties
- Checking identification cards that are acceptable by the law of Oregon for legal sale and purchase of cannabis from a customer as you greet and assist in a friendly and professional manner.
- To self educate on the legal limits and what they can resemble in product form.
- Effectively provide customers with appropriate, accurate, and important information in a swift and polite way. Skillfully guide conversations to help customers find their desired product.
- Willing to intake new information about products we obtain and products that we could potentially have.
- Value the importance of your customer and customer needs.
- Process transaction accurately using the point of sale system (POS) including counting cash to verify amount given and counting back change.
- Able to navigate menus in the POS for item’s
- Being able to correlate items and item names and the appropriate stock to pull and sell from.
- Maintain a clean, organized and positive environment for fellow coworkers and customers, that includes areas and or not available to the general public
- Respect your management, coworkers and customers.
- Being able to communicate when unsure of procedures, tasks, instructions
- Able to communicate when not able to attend shifts in an appropriate manner.
- Being able to relay appropriate information in regards to Marijuana consumption methods and how to safely navigate the customer on the best and safest way to do such.
- Being able to deescalate a tense situation in a professional manner.

- To be Honest, To be given certain tasks that reflect your honesty such as… money and product handling.
- Being able to understand the importance of the Oregon laws, and the repercussions when they are not followed (both parties, you and canna leaf) are held responsible for any violation. You could possibly be fined or have your permanent taken from you.
- Pre roll making, you will be required to make a certain amount of pre rolls for each work week. The amount of pre rolls that need to be produced is based on your work hours and will be adjusted with time improvement.
