What are the responsibilities and job description for the GRAPHIC DESIGNER position at Cannabis Creative Group?
We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Graphic Designer to join our digital marketing agency. The Graphic Designer will be responsible for leading and developing concepts and executing designs for a variety of web, print, branding, and environmental design work. The Designer will be part of the Creative Team and work closely with the account management team and outside design contractors to establish the conceptual and stylistic direction for all client work. Projects will include: brand identity, packaging design, and various marketing collateral (both print and digital). This role will be client-facing, joining account managers for occasional calls and meetings. This person will be our primary in-house resource and assist with our creative process, as well as coordinate with our development team on website projects. There is potential for this role to evolve as we grow.
Skills, Experience, Education:
- 3-5 year’s work experience minimum, Bachelor’s Degree Required, agency experience preferred
- Expert knowledge in Full Adobe Creative Suite &/ Figma Adobe XD knowledge a plus
- Branding and Front-End Web Design Experience required
- Mapping out site navigation, including drop downs, mobile, and sticky headers
- Ability to create high-end mock-ups of our work for client approval
- Working within clear rounds of revisions to keep client feedback within agreed upon budget
- Possess solid organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Display ownership of outcomes and see projects through from concept to execution
- Familiarity with Cannabis and/or the food/beverage industries is an advantageous asset
- Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team environment
- Experience with contract resources a plus
