We are seeking a reliable and responsible Delivery Driver to join our team. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering packages to our customers. The ideal candidate is organized, customer service-oriented, and has excellent time management skills.
Duties:
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport packages to designated locations
- Follow delivery routes and time schedules
- Load and unload packages from the vehicle
- Verify the accuracy of packages before delivery
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries
- Collect payments, if required
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and customer interactions
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries
- Basic math skills for verifying package quantities and collecting payments
- Strong organizational skills to efficiently plan delivery routes
- Customer service-oriented with excellent communication skills in English
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Physical stamina to lift and carry packages up to a certain weight limit
Preferred Skills:
While not required, the following skills are preferred for this position:
- Experience in technical sales or technology-related products
- Upselling or cross-selling experience to maximize sales opportunities
- Knowledge of stock management principles for tracking inventory levels
