Job Summary
We are seeking a knowledgeable and focused person to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for all things cannabis and the ability to provide exceptional service. Reflecting a welcoming attitude to ensure a pleasurable experience to all of our patrons. As an employee you will be responsible for guiding customers through their purchasing experience, offering product knowledge, which you will be trained accordingly. We treat our team members like family and inspire them to do the same.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to understand their needs and preferences regarding cannabis products.
• Provide accurate information about various strains, products, and their effects.
• Assist customers in making informed decisions through effective product demos and upselling techniques.
• Operate the cash register efficiently, handling cash and credit transactions and maintaining accurate cash handling practices.
• Utilize POS systems for processing sales and managing inventory.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor and display areas, as well as restocking.
• Address customer inquiries via phone with professional phone etiquette, ensuring a positive experience.
• Stay updated on industry trends, product offerings, and compliance regulations.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail sales is preferred, with a strong understanding of retail math.
• Familiarity with cash register operations and cash handling procedures is essential.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse customers; bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
• A passion for cannabis culture and knowledge of various products is highly desirable.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 – 20 per week
