Electrical Apprentice
Cannon Companies is looking for a qualified applicant to join our team as an Electrical Apprentice under the supervision of a Journeyman Electrician. This position is temporary & job specific for a duration of about 6 months with the possibility of extending.

Essential Requirements:
- At least 1 year experience working in the Telecommunication or Electrical Industry
- Have a valid Electrical Apprentice Training card
- High School diploma or GED certificate
- Completion of electrician training program preferred or ability to join our Apprenticeship school
- Knowledge of NEC electrical codes
- Eagerness to learn electrical schematics and blueprint reading skills
- Comfortable communicating with others
- Motivated to learn and able to adapt to changes when needed
- Have a current valid Driver's License
- Be able to pass a pre-employment Drug Screening and Criminal Background Check
- This role is a Safety Sensitive position and requires Military Base Access
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform all duties according to prescribed safety procedures and use appropriate safety equipment.
- Assist a Journeyman electrician and follow instructions
- Prepare and clean work areas
- Carry and deliver materials
- Install, repair, and maintain various electrical wiring systems and equipment
- Use measuring equipment and hand tools to perform conduit work
- Follow safety codes and building regulations
- Maintain good standing in Apprenticeship school with passing grades if not yet completed
