Responsibilities
- Develop and prepare calculations, specifications, detailed design drawings, reports, construction submittals reviews, model setup, and other technical deliverables for various water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
- Work closely with team members to gain understanding of project requirements and tasks, as well as office procedures, policies, and guidelines.
- Manage less-complex projects from start through construction management.
- Assist Project Managers in the management of complex projects and prioritize tasks to ensure that project needs, deadlines, and budgets are being met timely and effectively.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering or closely related field.
- Experience managing less complex projects, such as water, sewer, and storm drain pipelines.
- Requires 6 years' experience in water treatment and wastewater treatment, engineering analysis, and design of water distributions and wastewater collection facilities.
- Professional Registration as Civil Engineer in California required.
- Familiarity and understanding of wastewater treatment, fluid mechanics, and hydraulics.
- Demonstrates experience pertaining to water resource projects such as hydraulic modeling and distribution and collection system design.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, ArcGIS, and other design software.
- Experience with diverse hydraulic modeling software platforms such as Innovyze, BioWin, and Bentley a plus.
