NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY - WILL TRAIN!
A day in the life of an Optometric Technician can look like:
- Complete preliminary testing and necessary documentation
- Gather medical history, medications and reason for the visit
- Facilitating the flow of the office by quickly and efficiently preparing patients to be seen by the Optometrist
- Greet patients in person and on the phone
Required skills & qualifications include:
- Must be able to maintain a professional attitude and demeanor
- The ability to connect well with patients and coworkers
- Tech-savvy; comfortable using multiple computer programs
- Able to multitask, manage time wisely; detail-oriented; adaptable to change
- Team-player with a positive attitude to help create the best Patient Experience
- Awesome verbal communication skills in order to acquire patients visual needs
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 24 per week
