What are the responsibilities and job description for the Personal Aide position at Cannon?
This job position is part time to work with a mostly non verbal child with autism before school. The job duties involve assisting him to learn independent living skills such as getting dressed, eating dinner, using the bathroom, brushing his teeth, fine motor development thru play, communication building with his assistive technology device etc.
Hours are 5:15am-8:15/8:30am (whenever bus arrives to pick him up) Monday - Friday
Opportunity for raises. Off on all Federal holidays.
References required.
Must be able to pass a background check.
Will need to pass a child abuse and neglect course online thru DMH Website.
Experience working with special needs preferred.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $24.00 per hour
