Quality Control Inspector - 1st Shift

Pay: $55k-70k/yr.

Shift: Monday-Friday (8am to 5pm)

Description:

• Cannonball Recruiting is seeking a skilled Quality Control Inspector for electronic products.

Requirements:

• 4 years of experience in the electronics manufacturing or telecommunications industries
• Experience with IPC quality standards
• Experience working with measurement tools
• Strong attention to detail and ability to communicate with team members at all levels
• Knowledge of Electro-Mechanical assembly and inspections
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks/projects
• US Citizen

Responsibilities:

• Inspect products, components, and subassemblies to ensure conformance to requirements in a fast-paced environment including incoming, receiving, in-process, and final inspection.
• Visual/magnification aided inspection for accurate and consistent component placement and quality solder joints.
• Identify PCA defects such as shorts, excess and missing solder, cracks, solder bridges, and missing components.
• Verify conformance to specified dimensions, drawings, assembly drawings, working instructions and kit sheets.
• Inspection and review of test data sheets.
• Work with production team and other departments to correct any issues.
• Record and maintain inspection data.
• Ensure that all products meet safety and quality regulations.
• Make recommendations for process improvements.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to management and team members.
• Other duties as assigned.
