What are the responsibilities and job description for the Culture and Change Consultant position at CannonDesign?
The Culture and Change Consultant develops actionable plans that deliver measurable value for Blue Cottage and CannonDesign clients, with a focus on creating innovative, human-centered design solutions. This role will be responsible for sourcing, pre-positioning, pursuing and delivering solutions to support organizations going through a major change or organizational transformation. The leader that fills this role will have an opportunity to shape outcomes for clients in any market that Blue Cottage or CannonDesign serve, including health, education, science & tech, civic, federal, sports, commercial, FOS, Sustainability, etc.
- Identify, source, and position for strategic consulting opportunities that leverage Blue Cottage and CannonDesign services in any market, to innovate and bring value and benefit our clients who are interested in driving impact through change management and culture transformation
- Identify, establish and nurture meaningful, long-term relationships with clients and internal partners through excellence, integrity, and reliability and in a way that grows the consulting practice and elevates the brand, while making measurable, living-centered impact
- Be a trusted advisor, demonstrate strong executive presence, and utilize visual storytelling and communication skills to inform research activities, engage users and distill insights to inform solutions
- Develop client-facing intuitive solutions (compelling dashboards, beautiful reports, and data driven visuals) that can guide client organizations to embrace change and build a culture that improves business outcomes and human experience
- Provide strong project leadership to fulfil and exceed Blue Cottage and client expectations, while successfully delivering on multiple consulting engagements simultaneously
- Elevate the firm as a leader in culture and change through thought leadership content, conference presentations, and case studies, balanced with delivering project work
- Significant travel may be required, as necessitated by clients and your role
MEASURES OF SUCCESS:
- Support business development efforts as a key member of pursuit teams providing direction, leadership, and engaging collateral
- Secure individually, a minimum net-signed fee of 250K of Blue Cottage net signed fee per year and contribute to integrated project work that you assist by pre-positioning, participating in pursuits, interviews, etc.
- Contribute to 10% Year-over-Year growth of Blue Cottage (grow the business, grow the team)
- Achieve minimum 15% profitability on projects you lead or in which you participate
- Achieve a balance of marketing, business development, team development and thought leadership, while hitting a billable utilization target of 65% or more (or generating equivalent value in new business and projects)
- Embrace and model living centered design ethos and competencies
- 15 years of experience in consulting and leadership in culture transformations across technology, start-ups, social enterprises, non-profits, and government agencies
- Master's degree preferred, Bachelor's degree required
- Deep expertise in strategy, innovation, and implementation of change and culture services in large-scale transformation programs and experience with change management related to physical facility transitions
- Ability to manage the political nature of high-investment projects
- Extensive experience presenting to clients, industry conferences, and internal leadership
- Business Development experience and proven ability to leverage a broad professional network of individuals that will help communicate our value and grow our brand and revenue

Salary : $156,400 - $195,500
