Job Summary
Completes tasks delegated by the EHR Director or EHR Supervisor. The work will be identified as particular tasks that may need to be done in sequence or in tandem with other requests with tracking of the progress being made on each task.
Duties & Responsibilities
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide eCW software support through phone and remote connection
- Will conduct EHR software and workflow support to the medical staff and providers of practices, including documentation of ticket issues within our internal ticketing queue system
- Liaison to eCW Support and our associates to ensure that all open tickets, escalations, and inquiries are followed through and resolved for the medical practices
- Participate in implementation and transition to new software upgrades as needed
- Maintain system data integrity by strictly following EHR and IT protocols
- Maintain up to date with myeclinicalwork.com portal, webinars and eCW Days Conferences
- Plan and fully execute Data Migrations from source EMR to Host EMR
- Data mapping for Data Migrations
- Migration Tasks
- Create Facilities
- Create Resources
- Create Working Hours
- Create Users
- Create Providers
- Create Referring Providers
- Add/Transfer Fax Lines
- Templates/Letters Creation
- ePayment configuration
- Lab account transfer
- Product activation
- Perform testing on new builds and applications during implementation and maintenance phases
- Data validation for Data Migrations
- Provide guidance and support during Go Live after migration into Cano Health system to ensure a successful adaptation to our EMR
- Registration and Activation for EPCS (E-Prescriptions of Controlled Substances)
- Product Installation (eCW, Dragon, Dymo)
- Source EMR Contract termination
Supervisory Responsibilities
- No supervisory responsibilities
Critical Results
- Integration completed within 90 to 120 days after closing >90%
- Number of closed acquisitions/numbers of successfully migrated EMRs within 90 to 120 days
- Verification of Source data/ verification of data in eCW post migration
Education & Experience
- High School graduate and some college or Informational technical education or demonstration of work experience.
- Experience with EHR software capabilities and installation techniques; documentation and user instruction methods and techniques is a plus.
Knowledge, Skills & Proficiencies
- Analyzing user issues and providing problem resolution.
- Contribute effectively to the accomplishments of department goals and objectives.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships
- Fluent in English and Spanish
- Ability to learn multiple software platforms quickly and efficiently
Job Requirements
Physical Requirements
This position works under usual office conditions. The employee is required to work at a personal computer as well as be on the phone for extended periods of time. Must be able to stand, sit, walk, and occasionally climb. The incumbent must be able to work extended and flexible hours and weekends as needed. Physical demands include the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. Travel Requirements
Work may involve some driving/traveling to assigned clinics.
