Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Fire Sprinkler Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of fire sprinkler systems in various settings. This role requires a strong understanding of fire protection codes and standards, as well as proficiency in various technical skills related to fire sprinkler and pipework.
Duties
- Install and maintain fire sprinkler systems according to applicable codes and standards.
- Perform inspections and testing of fire sprinkler systems to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning systems, including grooving and pipe threading as necessary.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople to build and modify fire suppression systems effectively.
- Utilize basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations during installations.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including inspections, repairs, and system modifications.
Experience
- Proven experience in the installation and maintenance of fire sprinkler systems is preferred.
- Familiarity with relevant codes and standards governing fire protection systems is essential.
- Skills in pipe threading, pipe grooving are highly desirable.
- A strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices is crucial for success in this role.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $18.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
