Overview
As a shared services division, the Marketing Communications & Services Division provides event support to the Business Imaging Solutions Group (BICG). The Event Management Associate Specialist is a key role to the department, providing planning support and assistance on various events, while researching potential new events and opportunities for the company. This position is full time and offers a hybrid work schedule requiring you to be in the office Mondays and Wednesday and an option to work from home the remainder of the week (unless a specific business need arises requiring in office attendance on other days). Note that work schedules and office reporting requirements may change from time to time based on business needs.Responsibilities
- Event management of industry tradeshows including organization of Canon’s booth, being the main contact with the trade show administrators and event management company (if applicable). - Arrange staff travel, all event related logistics, budgetary estimates and final reports, facilitate lead capture, and provide event recap. - Assists with organizing and planning logistics for other various events such as meetings, trainings, and/or customer events. - Collaborates with supported groups to determine specifications and requirements for applicable events. - Provides operational support working with accounting, procurement, legal to ensure protocol is followed throughout the process. - Provides on-site support and assists with the development of communication materials for all events. - Responsible for facility selection, transportation arrangements.Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience required, plus 0 to 2 years of related experience. - Up to 40% national travel for trade shows and events, required. In accordance with applicable law, we are providing the anticipated salary range for this role: $62,400 - $71,500.
