Job Description

The Role

Proactive management of the performance of the cyber incident team and effective oversight of the cyber incident response service, whilst additionally managing the most complex cyber incidents. Deliver excellent customer service, through effective incident management.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive high performance of the team.
  • Lead and manage the team to act in accordance with, drive, and further the aims set out in the claims vision.
  • Proactive resource management, including but not limited to ensuring resource adequacy, distribution of workload and development of the team to ensure ongoing engagement.
  • Design and establish procedures to manage the team to ensure delivery of excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proactive assessment and project management of incidents (normally of high complexity); direct effective and timely responses through a coordinated and structured approach involving all relevant stakeholders.
  • Select, oversee, analyse, manage and track third-party vendors to improve, quality, efficiency and cost effectiveness.
  • Design specific key performance indicators to drive the improvement in service delivery.
  • Cultivate positive and highly effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proactively seek opportunities to advise customers on cyber incidents, including their prevention.
  • Lead and / or deliver significant contributions to project work in order to drive better service delivery and / or further the Claims strategic priorities.
  • Manage relationships with delegated claims administrators, service providers, and outsourced partners; flag any issues of concern and propose a plan to remediate.
  • Role model a positive learning attitude and ensures team's knowledge is kept up to date with developing trends.
