- The role and responsibility of the Substitute Teacher shall include all components necessary for carrying out the lesson plans of the teacher for whom he/she is substituting to special education and/or regular education students.
- This position will be working in a full time capacity during the academic year. Summer work will not be included.
Educational Responsibilities
- Assist students with assignments as needed on a daily basis.
- Complete required daily documentation for academic and behavioral progress.
- Reviews with principal or designee, all plans, duties and schedules to be followed during the teaching day, teaches the outlined lesson, maintains as fully as possible the established routines and procedures of the school and classroom to which he/she is assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent with 1 plus years experience working with children and adolescents, preferably in a teaching capacity.
