Canopy Landscapes in Ann Arbor is seeking a skilled and knowledgeable Horticulturist to join our team! If you have a passion for plants and landscaping and have experience in plant care, pruning, and more, we want to hear from you.
Job Duties:
- Weeding and maintaining gardens and landscapes
- Pruning, planting, and trimming shrubs, trees, and plants
- Properly identifying and caring for plants, shrubs, trees, and other landscape features
- Utilizing appropriate planting and pruning techniques to ensure plant health and aesthetics
- Occasionally managing and working with one other team member on specific tasks
- Maintaining a clean, organized work environment
Requirements:
- Basic knowledge of plant care, proper pruning, and planting techniques
- Ability to identify a wide variety of plants, shrubs, and trees commonly used in landscape designs
- Valid driver’s license (required for travel to various job sites)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for horticulture
