Position Overview:
The Director/Sr. Director, Medical Affairs is responsible for Medical Affairs portfolio management, including launch readiness and the strategic driving of medical roadmaps for clinical-stage programs. This position will contribute to clinical research by developing life-cycle management strategies, investigator-initiated research strategies and innovative post marketing strategies.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the development of medical strategic roadmap for launch readiness.
• Drive the integrated evidence strategy development across all disease areas and ensure effective dissemination of the data.
• Create a compelling medical strategic narrative, leveraging insights and the competitive knowledge.
• Identify key launch opportunities and collaborate with cross-functional partners to drive medical value optimization.
• Collaborate with Field Medical Affairs to define regional strategies and tactics.
• Oversee the development and implementation of Investigator Initiated Sponsored Research (IISR) strategy, reviews proposals, and monitors ongoing projects.
• Develop and operationalize the expanded access program (EAP) strategy.
Qualifications:
• Advanced scientific or healthcare related degree (MD/DO, PharmD, PhD, PA/NP, or equivalent) with 10-12 years of professional experience.
• Previous experience in clinical practice strongly preferred
Salary Range - $265,000 - $300,000 (DOE)
