Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Document all custom system configurations and settings within PeopleSoft 9.2.
- Analyze and map integrations between PeopleSoft and external systems, including Anaplan, CRM, UKG, Citi Manager, IBC, E2, Truist, CitiBank.
- Capture and document all batch processes executed within PeopleSoft ledgers.
- Clarify the relationship between the main ledger, sub-ledgers (Commitment Control Subledger, General Ledger), and all financial transactions.
- Identify and document all workflow configurations related to requisitions, purchase orders, and voucher approvals.
- Outline system security settings, role definitions, and access controls.
- Provide a detailed overview of the network configurations and system support requirements to maintain PeopleSoft.
- Document the year-end close process configurations, including accruals for payroll, P-Cards, travel, and invoice payments.
- Capture all reporting configurations used for financial analysis and decision-making.
- Identify combination edit rules and other critical system settings.
- Work closely with finance, IT, and procurement teams to ensure documentation accuracy and completeness.
- Translate technical system details into clear, non-technical documentation for executive stakeholders.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 5 years of experience in ERP documentation, system analysis, or business analysis with a focus on PeopleSoft 9.2.
- Hands-on experience with documenting ERP financial systems, including General Ledger (GL), Commitment Control (KK), and financial reporting modules.
- Strong knowledge of PeopleSoft integrations, APIs, data feeds, and third-party system connections.
- Experience working in federal financial management or nonprofit organizations (preferred).
- Ability to create detailed documentation and visual process maps using tools like Visio, Lucidchart, or similar diagramming tools.
- Strong understanding of PeopleSoft workflow configurations, approval processes, and security settings.
- Knowledge of federal compliance standards related to ERP and financial data management.
- Excellent technical writing and documentation skills to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently, conduct stakeholder interviews, and compile complex system information.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in federal government agencies or nonprofit financial ERP systems.
- Knowledge of PeopleSoft Fluid UI, Oracle SQL, and database management (a plus).
- Certification in PeopleSoft or Oracle ERP documentation best practices (preferred).
Contract Duration & Work Environment:
- Contract expected to align with USHMM's ERP transition timeline (RFP expected September 2025).
- Work will involve collaborating remotely with USHMM teams, with occasional on-site requirements (if needed).
