Canopy Wealth Management is a $1.1B independent Registered Investment Advisor, specializing in tax efficient financial planning, customized portfolio management, and personalized client service. With offices in Middleton, Wisconsin, Birmingham, Michigan, and Scottsdale, Arizona, we work with high net worth clients across the country.
Our team of five professionals in our Middleton office have over 96 years of collective experience in the financial services industry. With our continued growth and expansion, we are in search of an Associate Wealth Advisor to join our team. This is a new, full time position. The responsibilities of this position will include:
- Work alongside and in tandem with our Senior Wealth Advisors, assisting in all aspects of client care.
- Attend client meetings with the team’s Senior Advisors. Document meeting content, then coordinate to execute any necessary follow up items as needed.
- Lead new client onboarding as well as coordinate ongoing client maintenance activities.
- Actively engage in client relationship management. Effective communication and follow up with clients on relevant items.
- Data entry into tax analysis software. Review and analyze output and compile summary reports.
- Financial planning software data entry and plan preparation.
- Preparation of reports and related items for client meetings and communications.
- Maintain asset allocation / trading models in the portfolio management software.
- Client account trading.
- Investment research.
- Assist with daily business operations.

- A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Personal Finance, or related field.
- A minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant professional experience in the financial services industry.
- The ChFC and/or CFP professional designation (or on the pathway to acquiring one or both of those designations in the next year).
An industry standard background check will be conducted on the selected candidate before the final employment offer is formalized. The selected candidate will be required to sign the necessary contracting, legal disclosures, a non-disclosure agreement, and other related items.
