Project Details : Role : IT INFRASTRUCTURE ENGINEERLocation : Milford, MA Duration : 6 months / longtermType : W2Interview Criteria : Telephonic Skype Job Description : Design and implement a robust, reliable, and secure wired and wireless network infrastructure for the new manufacturing facility Design and implement a robust, reliable, and secure data center infrastructure for the new data center manufacturing facility Ensure interoperability of the new network & data center infrastructure with existing network and data center infrastructure. Design and implement integration of existing and new Manufacturing, Automation, Supply Chain, and Operations Technology solutions & services Identify, propose, design, and deliver solutions that enable optimal user experience of network and data center capabilities to improve work efficiency, which can include leveraging cloud infrastructure services Adhere to and perform all work under Rentschler IT Project Management policies and procedures Document all work procedures information in the Rentschler IT knowledge repository Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in computer related field or equivalent experience 5 years of technical networking and / or data center experience Completed studies or certification in network engineering such as CCNP, CCNA or CCIE; VMware Certified and / or Extreme Network certifications preferred Experience working with Cisco or Extreme Networks wired and WiFi technologies required Experience working with Cloud Environments; Azure & Extreme Network Cloud Mgmt preferred Experience working with Microsoft Windows & SQL and VMWare server technologies required Working Conditions Labs and manufacturing suite environment Facility technical equipment Chemical and electrical exposure Lifting and maneuvering in tight spaces Office environment Physical Requirements Carry a minimum of 25 lbs. PPE as required
