What are the responsibilities and job description for the Barista/Sales Associate position at Canteen?
Job Overview:
Looking for an experience Barista willing to work early mornings and weekends. Part-time and Full- time positions available. We are opening a new espresso bar/gift shop in a renovated hotel lobby downtown. We expect to be open 6am to 3pm seven days a week. Shifts begin as early as 5am. Hours will expand during the summer months. You will be working in a secure building.
Duties:
Create the best coffee drinks in town and provide customers with a friendly start to their day!
Help maintain attractive pastry and foodstuff display.
Assist customers with gift purchases - learn about our vendors and how products are made and sourced.
Be prepared for busy times via our street access window during downtown festivals.
Help with minor clean up and restocking.
Follow a neat and bright dress code, including our company logo apron and/or shirt.
Communicate concerns about supplies, inventory, etc with direct report and warehouse team.
Must be able to stand for the majority of an 8 hour shift.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
