Working as a Catering Sales Consultant, your main responsibility is developing new and existing relationships and building sales directly to these businesses for their catering needs. These catering events can range from daily to yearly and anything in between. You will work with the other people within Corporate Essentials and more directly those on the Martin and Fitch team. Additionally, you will be responsible for the following:
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategically services food and beverage companies in NY and NJ
- Achieves/exceeds annual budgeted sales goals by performing direct sales solicitation while developing new accounts and maintaining existing accounts; managing account details and preparing reports; responding to all telephone inquiries promptly
- Responsible for maintaining positive customer relationships and ensuring timely responses to all inquiries for space or service needs
- Confers with customers in all phases of their particular wants and needs to ensure complete customer satisfaction
- Establish agreements with at least 10 venues in NY or NJ to be added to their preferred vendor list.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of two years direct B2B catering sales experience. Superior quantitative, oral and written communications and problem-solving/strategizing skills
- Excellent overall computer skills with knowledge of Hubspot
- Proactive mindset to anticipate and support changes in our business
- Conformity to the highest standards of personal integrity and ethical behavior
- Exceptional customer service abilities
