Key Responsibilities
- Teach English classes to diverse students, promoting language acquisition and cultural understanding.
- Participate in weekly social and cultural activities organized by the Garcia Lorca Spanish School Adventure Club.
- Complete coursework for the Spanish language program to maintain eligibility for the student visa.
- Assist in mentoring fellow participants and supporting new teachers in the program.
- Fluency in English (native or bilingual proficiency).
- Willingness to learn Spanish and immerse in the local culture.
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with individuals from varied backgrounds.
- Adaptability and openness to new experiences, particularly in a foreign environment.
- A college degree or equivalent experience is required.
- Previous teaching experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- TEFL or CELTA certification is advantageous but not essential.
- A one-year student visa allowing legal residence and the ability to work up to 30 hours per week at a competitive rate of 18€/hour.
