Key Responsibilities
- Teach English to students of various ages and backgrounds
- Participate in cultural and social events to strengthen community ties
- Engage in a minimum of 20 hours per week of Spanish language coursework
- Collaborate with Canterbury English to discover additional teaching opportunities
- A passion for teaching and sharing knowledge
- Open-mindedness and adaptability to new environments
- Strong communication skills in English
- A keen interest in learning Spanish and immersing yourself in local culture
- Open to all backgrounds and experiences; prior teaching experience or TEFL/CELTA certification is beneficial but not essential
- A high school diploma is required; a college degree is preferred but not mandatory
- A one-year student visa that allows you to work 30 hours per week at a competitive rate of 18€/hour
- A one-Year Study Abroad Program with TEFL & Spanish for 2780€
- Madrid Lifestyle Program (for TEFL holders) with Spanish for 1970€
- Both programs include a one-year student visa, a ten-month Instituto Cervantes Accredited Spanish Program, job placement with us and partner academies, and weekly cultural activities.
