Pastry Chef

Canterbury Golf Club, a premier private club in Cleveland, Ohio, is seeking a talented and creative Pastry Chef to join our culinary team. This is a full-time position offering a flexible work schedule that promotes a healthy work-life balance—an uncommon advantage in the hospitality industry.

The Pastry Chef will be responsible for creating high-quality baked goods, pastries, and desserts for our members and guests, including plated desserts, banquet items, and specialty cakes. The ability to design and bake wedding cakes is highly desired. This position works closely with our Executive Chef to develop innovative menus and deliver an exceptional dining experience.

Qualifications & Requirements:

· Minimum of 3 years of pastry experience in a professional kitchen, preferably in a private club, fine dining, or banquet setting.

· Strong skills in baking, pastry production, and cake decorating.

· Ability to create custom wedding and specialty cakes.

· Passion for high-quality ingredients and presentation.

· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Compensation & Benefits:

· Salary: $50,000 - $60,000, commensurate with experience.
