Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Job Description
At Canterbury House, we are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide exceptional care and support to our residents.
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform duties in caring for residents, consistent with the plan of care and established long-term care standards.
- Answer signal lights and respond to resident needs promptly.
- Assist with bathing, dressing, toiletry, and oral hygiene activities of daily living (ADLs).
- Serve and collect food trays, and feed residents who require assistance.
- Transport residents using wheelchairs or wheeled carts, or assist them in walking.
- Turn and re-position residents, either alone or with assistance.
- Take and record vital signs, food and fluid intake and output, and weight as directed.
- Complete documentation accurately and efficiently.
