Job Summary :
Canterbury Park is looking for an outgoing and energetic individual to join our Marketing and Entertainment team as a seasonal assistant. Responsibilities include assisting with internal and external marketing and communications copywriting, design of promotional graphics, and the execution of promotions and / or events on designated days. The right candidate must have graphic design experience, strong communication skills, organizational skills, and possess quality writing skills with an eye for detail.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Lead by example and maintain a high degree of hospitality.
- Create content for promotional email newsletters and the Canterbury Park ticketing website for special events and concerts.
- Design creative promotional materials using Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, or Adobe Illustrator.
- Create content and graphics for Canterbury Park fan engagement and external marketing outlets.
- Assist in creating marketing promotions around community nights, external groups, and theme nights.
- Create unique and compelling graphics for social media advertisements and event flyers.
- Create, distribute, and analyze guest experience surveys for events and concerts.
