Responsibilities :
Administer respiratory therapy treatments and diagnostic tests to patients.
Manage ventilators and provide tracheostomy care in skilled nursing, LTACH, or hospital settings.
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
Educate patients and families about respiratory conditions and treatments.
Collaborate with medical staff to provide the highest quality care to residents.
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements :
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care.
Current state licensure.
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist.
Experience with trach care and ventilator management in a skilled nursing, LTACH, or hospital setting.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact well with residents and families.
