CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant

• Full-time-6am-2pm with a $4000.00 Recruitment and Retention Bonus
• Part-time- 3 days a week-6am-2pm & 2-10_ with a 2500.00 Recruitment and Retention Bonus_

Canterbury Woods’ Skilled Nursing Facility is looking for a Certified Nurses Aide (CNA) to join our team! We are a small & intimate setting consisting of fifty (50) private rooms, with an excellent 1:8 caregiver to resident ratio, allowing for caregivers to focus on providing person centered care to our residents. We are a CARF accredited Skilled Nursing Facility.

C.N.A Responsibilities:

· Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (dressing, bathing, personal grooming, feeding and toileting)

· Assist residents with ambulation, transfers, wheelchair transport

· Maintain resident care records and document services provided

· Report to Charge Nurse on duty the daily needs, unusual symptoms and progress of residents.

· Provide a high level of customer service and person-centered care approach

C.N.A. Qualifications:

· Proven work experience and current NYS C.N.A certification.

· Active on the C.N.A. State Nursing Aide Registry with no findings or convictions of resident abuse, mistreatment or misappropriation of property.

· 18 years of age or older

· Verbal and written English skills
