Part-Time Baker – Assisted Living Facility

We are seeking a part-time baker to join our team at [Facility Name]. This role is responsible for preparing desserts to be served at lunch and dinner for our residents. The ideal candidate will have experience in baking, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare a variety of desserts according to a set schedule.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment.
• Follow food safety guidelines and accommodate dietary restrictions when necessary.
• Ensure desserts are available for both lunch and dinner service.
• Work flexible hours, a few days per week, as needed.

Qualifications:

• Previous baking experience preferred (professional or extensive home baking experience).
• Understanding of food safety and sanitation standards.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently.

Supervisor: Executive Chef/Food and Beverage Director

Daily Duties and Responsibilities:

· Assume 100% responsibility for quality of products served

Maintain or exceed standards of appearance, cleanliness, hygiene and health standards.

Appropriate dress required. Uniforms must be neat, clean and wrinkle free

· Assist in food preparation during off-peak periods as needed

Dependable and able to meet schedule requirements (attendance and punctuality).

· Perform other related duties as assigned by the Executive Chef/Food & Beverage Director

Must possess written and verbal skills for effective communication, as well as proven customer service skills.'
