Job Summary:
The Network Operations Specialist is a provider and member facing role and reports directly to the Manager of Provider Contracting and Network Management. This individual negotiates agreements with highly visible providers who are strategic to the success of the Plan, including but not limited to hospitals and physician groups that result in high quality, cost effective and marketable providers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Accountable for end-to-end provider experience and overall delivery
- Fulfill Gap Closures and satisfy Adequacy Measures
- Negotiate and Re-Negotiate Agreements
- Cost Savings Agreements
- Conduct New Provider Orientations (when contracted)
- Submit Single Case Agreements when applicable
- Track and Trend provider targets
- Collaborate with all departments for any contractual needs or educational purposes
- Responsible for capturing, documenting, and sharing market intelligence; use market intelligence to develop and drive strategic improvements
- Collect, analyze, interpret, translate and distribute provider information, reports, dashboards
- Track and monitor performance
- Understands and applies service culture principles and methodology
- Develops and participates in presentations to existing and prospective partners
- Training with our Business Operations team for member sales
Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications:
- College degree or equivalent work experience (2-5 years)
- 2 years of experience in Provider Relations, Contracting, and/or Healthcare
- Demonstrated excellent oral, written, interpersonal, analytical, and negotiation skills
- Ability to use PC software and multiple systems
- Ability to work autonomously
- Ability to travel required (20-50%)
