The Broadmoor at Creekside Park is currently hiring a Full Time Restorative Aide
Job Summary:
The overall purpose of the Restorative Aide position is to assist in the provision of restorative and/or rehabilitative care to Patients as appropriate, and to assist in the provision of regular Patient care as may be directed.
Qualifications:
- State certification as a Nursing Assistant is mandatory.
- Ability to read, write, and speak the English language.
Essential Functions:
- Provide personal care to Patients in a manner conducive to their safety and comfort. Assist in the provision of restorative or rehabilitative care.
- Performs restorative nursing tasks such as ambulation, range of motion, positioning, self-feeding, etc., within the scope of individuals' training.
- Promotes and supports the greatest possible degree of independence for Patients.
- Advises Patient Care Coordinator (PCC) of Patient's status on a daily basis.
- Contributes knowledge of Patient's conditions/needs to Patient care plans.
- Assists in the implementation of care plans as directed within the parameters of established policy and procedure.
- Observes and reports on Patients' conditions and documents observations as required.
- Promotes safe and clean environment.
- Complies with requirements of procedures for safe lifting and/or safe transfer of Patients per established policies and procedures.
- Assists in care and maintenance of therapy area and equipment.
- Assures that equipment is clean and functional.
- Attends in-service training programs.
- Attends monthly Quality Assurance Meetings.
- Responsible for monthly and weekly weights.
Qualifications
Essential Functions (continued):
- Attends weekly rehab meetings
- Ability to function as a Team Leader/Role Model.
- Has reviewed Cantex Continuing Care Network Policy and Procedures for Abuse Prevention and knows the employee’s responsibility to enforce it.
- Attends weekly in-services, understands, and complies with Patient Care Management Systems.
- Responsible for assuring patient/resident safety.
- Performs other duties and tasks as assigned.
Continuing Education:
- Attends in-service and educational programs.
- Attends continuing education required for maintenance of professional certification.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to communicate in English via phone, in writing, and verbally in conversation with different levels of staff, patient families, and any outside customers in accordance with the Company’s HIPAA Policy.

- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to blood or other body fluids, fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level in the work environment usually moderate.
