Job Summary:
The primary purpose of the Van Driver position is to transport Center Residents to prearranged physician and/or dialysis appointments and/or to transport Residents on scheduled outings arranged by the Center.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain a valid Texas Drivers License
- Pass inquiry from DMV of driving record
- No outstanding criminal/civil citations
- Be a Certified Nursing Assistant
- Current CPR Training Card
- Ability to read, write and speak English language
Key Accountabilities:
- Complete Competency Training Checklist
- Maintain vehicle documents, including ownership, insurance, and maintenance records
- Ensure vehicle registration, inspection, and insurance are current
- Maintain weekly usage schedule with Executive Director and DON
- Keep vehicle clean and well-maintained, adhering to recommended maintenance
- Review Cantex Senior Communities Clinical Policies and Procedures for Abuse Prevention
