Description
Direct and manage the agricultural science program for the High School campus. Provide students with appropriate learning activities and experiences designed to help them fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth. Enable students to develop competencies and skills to function successfully in society.
Expectations:
Must be willing to participate in ALL necessary activities to ensure a successful FFA program, promote all aspects of the FFA program, train LDE and CDE teams, participate in livestock shows, work cooperatively with other teachers, and have strong classroom management skills.

Requirements
Education/Certification-
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
Valid Texas teaching certificate in Agriculture Science and Technology
Able to obtain a CDL license
Special Knowledge/Skills-
Knowledge of core academic subject assigned
General knowledge of curriculum and instruction
Ability to instruct students and manage their behavior
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skill
Experience -
At least one year of student teaching or approved internship.
