Security Officer

Job Summary
We are seeking dedicated and vigilant Armed and Unarmed Security Officers to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to security, utilizing surveillance techniques and conflict management skills to prevent incidents and respond effectively when necessary.

Duties

• Conduct regular patrols of the property to ensure safety and security.
• Respond promptly to alarms and emergencies, providing first aid or CPR as needed.
• Enforce rules and regulations to maintain order and safety within the facility.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary to report incidents or concerns.
• Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying potential theft or vandalism risks.
• Document all incidents, observations, and actions taken during shifts in a clear and concise manner.
• Engage in conflict management strategies to de-escalate situations effectively.

Experience

• Previous experience in security, law enforcement or military service is preferred but not necessary. All Officers must be able to pass background check. Armed Officers must have 20 hr. certification or be willing to attend our authorized training course.
• Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with surveillance equipment and loss prevention techniques is advantageous.
• Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Evening shift

Ability to Commute:

• Canton, OH 44709 (Required)

Ability to Relocate:

• Canton, OH 44709: Relocate before starting work (Preferred)
