Main Responsibilities
- Plan, supervise, and coordinate general recreation programs and activities for adults aged 55
- Coordinate set-up, tear-down, and clean-up of programs and events
- Interact with patrons to provide positive customer experiences and accurate information regarding activities and services
- Recruit, interview, train, schedule, and supervise part-time/seasonal recreation staff/volunteers as directed
Requirements
- High school graduate or GED required
- Previous customer service experience required; supervisory experience preferred
- Ability to perform manual lifting and loading of program supplies and equipment
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work a wide variety of shifts, including afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays
