The position is an entry level position with great potential for future growth. We are looking for a career minded individual interested in future advancement to become a Design Consultant with Cantoni.
Weekends and some Holidays are required.
RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Greet and welcome visitors to the showroom.
- Create a warm and hospitable experience for guests.
- Monitor sales ups and leads.
- Handle incoming phone calls and redirect as needed.
- Keep track of swatches and materials on loan.
- Manage resource room inventory and product tags.
- Assist with managing showroom-related expenses.
- Handle daily, weekly, monthly paperwork and reporting.
- Coordinate with corporate partners in accounting, operations, buying teams, and visual merchandising.
- Work closely with the General Manager on projects aimed at enhancing the customer experience and showroom operations.
- Assist the General Manager with various tasks and appointments as required.
- Maintain daily operations in General Manager’s absence.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Design degree is desirable, but not required
- CAD experience (required)
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Good organizational skills
- Excellent ability to play a key support role
