Responsibilities:
Municipal Bond Sales Professional Cantor Fitzgerald is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Municipal Bond Sales Professional to join our dynamic team. As a Municipal Bond Sales Professional, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with institutional and high-net-worth investors, promoting our municipal bond offerings, and driving sales growth. You will leverage your expertise in the municipal bond market to provide insightful market analysis and tailored investment strategies.
- Sales & Business Development
- Proactively identify and cultivate new client relationships, including institutional investors, financial advisors, and high-net-worth individuals
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets
- Present and market municipal bond offerings to potential investors
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective clients
- Client Relationship Management:
- Provide exceptional client service and build long-term relationships
- Offer expert advice and market insights to clients regarding municipal bond investments
- Respond promptly to client inquiries and address any concerns
- Maintain detailed client records
- Market Analysis & Product Knowledge:
- Stay abreast of current market trends, regulatory changes, and economic conditions impacting the municipal bond market
- Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify investment opportunities
- Develop a deep understanding of our municipal bond offerings and their features.
- Provide market updates to management
- Compliance:
- Adhere to all regulatory requirements and internal compliance policies
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field.
- 2 years of experience in municipal bond sales.
- Established relationships with institutional investors and/or high-net-worth clients.
- Strong understanding of municipal bond market dynamics, credit analysis, and underwriting.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- FINRA Series 7 and Series 63 (or 66) licenses required.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree required
Salary: $ 60,000, plus commission
The expected base salary for this position is $60,000. The actual base salary will be determined on an individualized basis taking into account a wide range of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, education, and, where applicable, licenses or certifications held. In addition to base salary and a competitive benefits package, this position may be eligible for additional types of compensation including discretionary bonuses and other short- and long-term incentives (e.g., deferred cash, equity, etc.).
