Job Description: Responsible for business development and achieving revenue targets based on new business growth within a specified territory. New business sales into new & existing clients and client segments in the US. Achieve and exceed sales and revenue targets set by regional management. Establish first point of contact with key persons at prospective clients and be confident to engage and represent the business with MD & C-level decision makers at client businesses. Gather, monitor, and analyze how Fenics Market Data products are utilized by clients and how our products compare to competitor offerings. Use this information to cross sell and upsell accounts. Provide frequent and meaningful product feedback from client interactions. Lead sales teams in thought leadership and product positioning.
Minimum Requirements: Requires a bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Admin/Management, Finance, Economics, or a related field plus 5 years of progressively responsible a in business development role. Experience must include: managing a sales pipeline and achieving sales targets. Financial Markets specifically within OTC financial markets and additional expertise in fixed income, currency & commodities trading. Understanding of regulatory landscape affecting client data needs including IPV and Trade Surveillance. Engagement with PTFs and Buy-side accounts in the US and Globally. Financial Market Knowledge across Fixed Income, Rates, Credit, FX, Interest Rate Derivatives. 5% international and domestic travel required; locations impossible to predict. Salary Range $180,000 - $260,000/yr.
