What are the responsibilities and job description for the Experienced Dining Room Server position at Cantoro Italian Market & Trattoria?
Seeking professional, responsible, motivated individuals to join our service team.
Our Trattoria is a high volume, upscale Italian restaurant with a culture deeply rooted in customer service. We believe that servers are our sales force and offer an extensive training program in all areas of food and beverage service.
2 year serving experience required. The ideal candidate will be presentable, reliable, have good communication skills and demonstrate a high degree of drive and determination. Wine, cocktail skills and knowledge of Italian cuisine are helpful, but we will train the right candidate. Hourly wage is $3.93 tips.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate exceptional knowledge of the menu, including preparation, ingredients and description.
- Be familiar with wine and cocktail menus including stemware used.
- Organize section for every shift.
- Anticipate and deliver exceptional service consistently.
- Attend departmental meetings and training sessions.
- Perform opening and closing side work duties as assigned by management.
- Attention to detail, organization, and cleanliness before, during, and after service.
- MUST be available to work Sundays.
