Primary Purpose: Ride buses and share responsibility with the driver to ensure safe and orderly transportation of students. Respond to District emergencies by being on call 24 hours a day.
Qualifications:
Education/Certification:
- High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or five (5) years work experience for the job applied
Responsibilities: Special Knowledge/Skills:
- Ability to follow verbal instructions and communicate effectively
- Ability to operate safety equipment and adaptive equipment
- Ability to work well with all children including those with disabilities
- Successful completion and annual re-certification of CPR & First Aid training
- Must have the ability to understand, read, and speak English
Experience/Eligibility:
- No experience required
- Must be eligible for employment in the United States
Misc Information:
Only the Superintendent of Schools and in some cases the Board of Trustees, has the hiring authority to employ applicants. The Human Resources Division is the only entity that can officially make an offer of employment to applicants.
In the event the selection of a person for the posted position creates a vacancy in another position within Canutillo ISD as a result of an intra-district transfer of personnel, the vacancy created by the transfer may be filled by the District with an individual qualified for the position through this posting and selection process.
Part-Time Position (15 hours per week) Salary:
- Pay Grade: Manual Trades 1
- Hourly Rate: $10.75 - $12.50
