What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales Systems Developer position at Canva?
Software Application Development (Bug Fixes & Enhancements) on the Salesforce platform using Object Oriented design methodologies and Salesforce technologies, including Apex, Apex Triggers, and Salesforce Integrations. Work independently with various stakeholder groups to gather requirements and create proposals, solution designs, and process maps. Maintain code documentation and perform code reviews. Perform quality assurance and regression testing. Provide end-user support. Provide data management and assist the team with the organization and maintenance of data in Salesforce. Work with the enablement team to develop training for end users. Ensure stability, maintain the integrations, and oversee user support enhancements.
Telecommuting permitted up to 3 days a week.
Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, and 3 years of post-baccalaureate related work experience.
Of the required experience, must have 3 years of experience in each of the following:
- Scheduled flows
- Record triggered flows
- Batchable apex
- Apex triggers
- Apex tests
- Process builders & workflow rules
- Management of Roles, Profiles, and Permission Sets
- Validation Rules.
Of the required experience, must have 1 year of experience in each of the following:
- Applying Agile Methodologies
- DevOps and CI/CD experience including source control and continuous integration
- Back-end and API development
- Data migrations
- Understanding of B2B Sales processes (Opportunities, contracts, products)
- Salesforce UI (Lightning pages, record layouts, App Manager)
- Test driven development.
Employer also requires the following certification: Salesforce Certified Platform Developer - 1
