Duties :
Provide subject matter expertise to SG staff to assist in fielding decisions of blood products and other medical capabilities in the most safe, secure and efficient manner.
- Provide analysis support for medical and healthcare engagement strategies and optimization efforts related to medical operations / missions; assist AFSOC / SG staff with identification of deficiencies, capabilities and potential technological solutions that could improve the medical response / support capabilities for worldwide healthcare delivery to include preventative medicine, diagnostics, environmental health, base operating support and en-route patient care.
- Assist AFSOC / SG staff in the development of policies, processes, and prioritization of medical research and material development.
- Maintain files of all battlefield trauma care and operational medicine support initiatives and research papers of interest to AFSOC / SG, to include blood program specific requirements and provide copies and associated reports upon request.
