Canvas Property Group is looking for an Yardi Lease Admin to join the Revenue and Leasing teams with 3 years of experience. This candidate will support in all aspects of leasing and renewals within our portfolio of properties. The Lease Admin will report directly to Director of Revenue while having direct communication with Leasing Teams, Ownership and Senior Partners.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Support or manage day-to-day Lease Administration needs including tenant sublets, assignments, and transfers..
- Supervise and lead DHCR rent issuance per RGB, conforming to all local laws on distribution and execution of rent stabilized leases throughout the portfolio.
- Work with team to establish, create, distribute and negotiate free market rent renewals and work for increased retention.
- Negotiate on phone and email with existing tenants around renewal offers.
- Track progress throughout each month with organized methods to clearly report retention, NTV, and other unit transition
- Utilize Yardi to manipulate tenancy as needed.
- Assist in projects such as onboarding or offboarding new properties with respect to leases and rents.
Key Attributes/Experience
- Minimum of 3 years of New York City multifamily leasing experience.
- Candidate must be experienced with Yardi and its various modules.
- Self-starter with strong work ethic; ability to work independently as part of a larger team.
- Excellent customer service and follow-up skills.
- Highly motivated, project oriented, results-driven, problem solver.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Office.
- Experience with Yardi Voyager strongly preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree
Compensation
W-2 Employee: Range of $65,000 to $95,000 (based on experience)
Salary : $65,000 - $95,000
