Products include digital and analog radio / audio management systems, Tac / Com, VHF / UHF radio systems, intercoms, data interface accessories, and aural warning.
Role purpose (position scope) :
Under moderate supervision, the position is responsible for a variety of intermediate level engineering responsibilities within their job category. This individual uses broad knowledge of engineering discipline, processes and tools in order to complete various project subtasks. S / he has experienced a few project life cycles to aide in decisions. This person may interact with internal / external customers and team members in order to facilitate the completion of their tasks.
The individual must be able to meet all minimum standards within 90 days.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develops technical program planning, system requirements, system integration, verification & validation, maintains cost and risk, and evaluates fleet supportability and effectiveness for the larger integrated system.
- Analyses are performed at all levels of system : concept, design, test, installation, operation, maintenance, and factory integration.
- Ensures customer or product requirements into the system solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
- Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, safety analysis, FMEA, requirements allocation, and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware or software specifications.
- Set objectives and deliver results that have direct impact on the achievement of results within the job area.
- Interfaces / coordinates with the factory.
- Explain facts, practices, policies, etc. to others within the organization.
- Conducts technical interchange of task level information (system requirements, technical drawings, specifications, etc.) with team members and internal customers.
- May participate in project meetings and presentations.
- Communicates any non-compliance to pertinent parties.
- Update or modify working methods in own role based upon defined procedures.
- Applies prescriptive methodology to projects and processes.
- May identify areas for technical improvement using engineering knowledge and principals.
- Comply and uphold Canyon AeroConnect SHE policies and standards.
- Comply with the Canyon AeroConnect Code of Business Conduct and Ethics.
- Other duties as assigned by manager.
